The Science of Cities Symposium brought together international academic researchers, urban practitioners and industry experts from around the world to share their scientific knowledge, novel research methodologies and insights on tackling current and emerging urban challenges. Held at the World Cities Summit in June 2024, it was attended by over 200 delegates.

This article showcases the 2nd Panel of the Symposium – Science of People-Centric Cities, featuring presentations by two keynote speakers, Professor M Jae Moon from Yonsei University, and Dr Bree Trevena from Arup, and five research presenters, followed by a moderated Panel Discussion.
