About
CLC is a partner in the Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP), established in 1992 and administered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The programme aims to help Singapore to consolidate and expand its technical assistance initiatives. The SCP is a significant framework that enables CLC to share Singapore's development experience with other developing countries through an extensive range of training programmes covering various topics including Sustainable and Resilient Cities, and Sustainable Financing of Cities.

Through our collaboration with MFA on the SCP, CLC contributes to the programme’s mission by leveraging our knowledge in sustainable urban governance, planning and development. We work alongside local and international partners and practitioners, providing valuable insights and knowledge to city leaders and government officials around the globe in hope to exchange best practices and lessons learnt in promoting sustainable growth and innovation in all regions.

It is a very productive program that has covered every topic necessary to develop a city. I highlight that the sessions have talked about the history, challenges, visions and technical and political proposals to achieve what Singapore is now. I consider it to be a very enriching program and I am left with many good ideas.— Ms Lady Rosa, Urban Planning Analyst, Metropolitan Institute of Planning, Peru
Very relevant sessions, I am amazed at the level of expertise invited to share with us.— Mr Rhon Boddie, Director, Urban Resilience and Development, Government of St. Kitts and Nevis
